Leah J. Mitchell

Leah is inspired by the beauty of New Mexico: bright sunsets, desert flowers, chile ristras against stucco walls, hot air balloons over the Rio Grande, and so much more. Similarly, Leah is drawn to the variety of mosaic art. Mosaics can be an architectural accent, a sculpture, wall art, or a household item. Leah creates with glass, ceramic tiles, broken dishes, discarded and found items. - Leah’s mosaics have been displayed at Sandia Heights Artists Studio Tour, Placitas Library Mosaic Artists Exhibition “Wild” and The Gallery ABQ. Leah is a mosaic instructor at The Groove Artspace.
